12-24 volt DC low voltage water heating element fits most water heaters with standard screw-in heating elements. Square flange element adapter available if need. 24-48 volt element also available.

Designed for use a diversion loads for wind or hydro electric systems. Use one or more of these heating elements with a charge controller such as a Xantrex/Trace C40 or C60, Morningstar TS-45 or TS-60 or the Outback MX-60 to turn your excess power into hot water.

Each unit has two elements that can be wired in series or parallel or used individually, depending on voltage and desired amp draw. Adjustable to 14.6/29.2/58.3 amps at 14VDC depending on element wiring; or 29.2 amps at 28VDC wired in series.

Make sure to size your diversion load(s) to handle more than your charging system's maximum output.
