Southwest Windpower's cutting-edge Skystream 3.7 wind turbine brings residential windpower into the same price range as utility power! Skystream's innovative downwind tail-less design and integral utility-compatible inverter create an easy to install, low maintenance power system capable of producing an estimated 100 kWh/month of power with an average 7.9mph wind speed. You don't need to change any of your household wiring to use a Skystream wind turbine! The Skystream Marine model takes the innovative design of the standard Skystream and "ruggedizes" it for harsh marine environments, using the top-quality anti-corrosion treatments and coatings proven on Southwest's other marine-grade wind turbines.

The Skystream's unique design makes it one of the quietest residential turbines available, with a sound profile very similar to the background noise level in tests. The turbine can be mounted on 33 and 45 foot monopole towers for the least visually obstructive installation in suburban areas, or on taller guyed pole towers to increase system output.

The available wireless remote allows you to control the turbine (turning it on and off, and setting the correct site elevation) along with monitoring the following data:

• Turbine current status
• Wind speed
• Turbine output in watts
• Turbine blade RPM
• Total cumulative kilowatt hours produced
• Grid voltage (Volts)
• Grid frequency (Hz)
• Turbine ambient temperature
• Inverter software version
• Turbine service information

NOTE: We strongly recommend purchasing a wireless remote with your Skystream turbine. Without the remote, although the turbine can still be installed and operated, the only control you have over the turbine is turning it off by disconnecting the utility power connection!

The optional remote USB connection kit allows you to connect your remote to a Windows computer and store your monitor data for analyzing performance over time, display much more detailed information for turbine, system and grid status, export data in comma-delimited ASCII files for use in standard spreadsheet software, and upload software updates to the turbine.
