Formerly the Whisper H80 Nautica, this durable turbine has been updated to the Whisper 200 Marine, with new features and added flexibility. The Whisper 200 series is slightly noisier than the Whisper 100, but can produce 1.5-2 times as much power on average, and operated in even lower wind speeds. And now any Whisper 200 Marine can have its voltage changed, 12-48 volt DC within a few minutes in the field. (Comes with a factory setting of 24VDC)

The Whisper 200 Marine is designed to operate in a site with low to medium wind speeds (8mph - 3.6m/s). With a rated output of 1000 watts at 31mph wind speed, the WHI-200M can make a significant contribution to your alternative energy system. Even with only 12mph (5.4m/s) average wind speed, The Whisper 200 Marine provides about 158+ kWh per month (5.3 kWh per day).

With a powder-coated, sealed cast aluminum frame and fiber reinforced blades, the WHI-200M can withstand high winds and corrosive salt air environments. The patented side-furling Angle Governor allows the WHI-200M to maintain high power output even in extreme wind speeds. In addition to it's patented smooth-acting side furling design (now with a more durable bronze pivot bushing), the Whisper 200 Marine has a number of new features that make it ideal for any new or existing photovoltaic system.

Which also includes a diversion load to ensure quiet, safe operation of the wind turbine when batteries are charged, which protects both the wind turbine and the batteries. It allows easy integration of an anemometer to measure wind speeds, and the compact design fits easily into any battery room. Add the optional LCD display and you will receive real time data on the performance of the Whisper Wind Turbine, including current and maximum amperage and battery voltage, kWh production, and peak and average wind speed (with anemometer). The Display can be mounted on the controller or up to 1000 feet (300 meters) away!

The Whisper 200 Marine is designed for easy installation, even for the novice. Use a Whisper Tower Kit (+ anchors) and the Whisper can be installed in just a few hours with no welding, no concrete or cranes.

Why use small wind turbines? Solar and wind can often compliment each other. Generally when it is sunny it is calm and when it is cloudy it is windy. This complimentary effect is even greater during seasonal changes.
