The LVM6TB12 and LVM6TB24 load diverting charge controllers were designed for their Aero6Gen series wind generator and Aqua6Gen hydro turbines. This charge controller will allow current to flow into your battery or battery bank until the batteries reach full charge. When the batteries are fully charged, the 6TB12/24 diverts excess current to the included dump resistor.

LVM's TB series controllers are designed for two battery charging systems.

Be sure to order the controller which corresponds to the output voltage of your turbine (12 or 24 volt). The controller and resistor should be mounted in a well ventilated area near the battery bank, as the resistor can become very hot while dissipating current.

The 4TB12/24 models also have optional temperature compensation to maximize charging capability.
