The Aero6Gen wind turbine was designed to charge 12 or 24 volt lead acid and nickel cadmium (NiCad) batteries. Designed for optimum wind speeds between 15 and 28mph, the Aero6Gen can operate unattended in up to 52mph winds, producing 30 amps of power. However, above 52mph, it needs a certain degree of manual control to prevent damage to the turbine. The Aero6Gen's high efficiency brushless alternator incorporates heavy duty stator windings and high energy permanent magnet rotors. Corrosion-resistant marine grade materials are used throughout construction. The Aero6Gen is available in both 12 (LVM612) and 24v (LVM624) configurations. Order the model that matches the voltage of your battery bank for maximum efficiency. (NOTE: We do try to keep stock on hand, however there may be a delay on your order due to lead times on our stocking orders. We will contact you regarding any lead time when you place your order.)
